Job Description 

Malcolm Pirnie, Inc is seeking a Project Manager/Design Leader for water and wastewater projects in our Dallas office. This person will perform project management duties and will lead/supervise project teams in the planning, design, and construction administration of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure facilities.

 


Job Requirements 

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:- Fifteen or more years of progressively responsible experience with the majority of experience as a consulting engineer in the municipal water/wastewater industry. - Individual must have significant project management experience including budget and schedule monitoring and control responsibilities.Our ideal candidate will be a strong leader and have outstanding decision making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also a must. This will include the ability to convey and communicate technical material and information to clients in both formal presentations and impromptu settings. - Individuals should have solid technical skills with water/wastewater treatment plant design experience including development of conceptual/preliminary designs, detailed design document preparation, and office engineering during construction.- Pipeline, pump station and lift station design experience including development of conceptual/preliminary designs, route studies, detailed design document preparation, and office engineering during construction is desired.- Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead multi-discipline and multi-office teams. - Experience mentoring and supervising other engineering professionals .- B.S. degree in engineering; M.S. a plus. Texas P.E. required, or ability to obtain within six months.
