Primary Responsibilities:

• Analysis and Solution Definition:
  • Quickly understands internal customer's business issues and data challenges
  • Identifies customer organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement
  • Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
  • Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for customer requests.
• Technical Recommendation and Testing:
  • Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design
  • Leads testing efforts
  • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
  • Works with client personnel to identify required changes
  • Communicates needed changes to development team
• Project Execution:
  • Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
  • Communicates and applies project standards
  • Helps manage resources in accordance with project schedule
    Consistently delivers high-quality services to customers
  • Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project
• Communication:
  • Assists in the facilitation of team and customer meetings
  • Delivers informative, well-organized presentations
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
 
Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance and/or computer science
• 3+ yrs experience using Peoplesoft Finance reporting applications such as (queries, envision, scheduling, process monitoring, notifications, and security).
• 3+ yrs experience performing financial data analysis.
• 3+ yrs experience in Finance and/or accounting functional areas working with financial statements and reporting. 

Asset:

Familiarity working with all aspects of the SDLC
