Food Production Manager - Healthcare
Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of production employees in order to prepare and deliver a finished food product to a serving area for consumption. Candidate will also be responsible for the purchasing and receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring inventory. The Food Production Manager maintains food production records, plan and cost menus, directly supervises employees with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increases. Culinary experience is a plus.
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor degree or related culinary degree with 2+ years of management experience in contract/institutional food preparation and service. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role. Supervisory, organizational and time management skills are required. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as experience with on-line ordering applications is required. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable. Prefer candidates with Healthcare food service experience.
