The Oklahoma City OK branch is seeking a Service & Repair Sales Representative to be responsible for the profitable sales of service contracts on a full line of vertical transportation equipment manufactured by TKE and its competitors. Responsibilities include: Prospect existing and inactive accounts and solicit new accounts to generate profitable, sustainable business Team with Operations department on project management activities including surveying, estimating, purchasing, invoicing and job status meetings Partner with Operations department to ensure quality product turnover Coordinate with branch personnel, regional and corporate entities and related vendors to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously Evaluate contractual conditions, technical specifications, and architectural drawings to prepare detailed project proposals Present proposals to developers, consultants and building owners Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community

External CandidatesMust meet at least one of the following criteria to be considered:

  •           Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; prefer an emphasis in Sales, Business and/or Marketing; or
  •           Four years of military service with an Honorable Discharge; or
  •           Four years of professional sales experience, preferably in a construction-related industry; or
  •           Be a card-carrying Mechanic with sales aptitude The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, consultants, building management and owners; mechanical aptitude; demonstration of excellent customer service, project management and sales lead generation skills; strong written and oral communication skills; and good MS Office skills.  TKE offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including incentive, vehicle allowance, gas card, and an excellent 401(k) plan along with the opportunity for long-term career growth.  No phone calls please.  EOE.~CB~
