Description Water Superintendent Wisconsin Rapids Water Works And Lighting Commission The Wisconsin Rapids Water Works and Lighting Commission (WW&LC) is accepting resumes for the position of Water Superintendent. WW&LC provides municipal water to Wisconsin Rapids residents and electricity to Wisconsin Rapids and surrounding areas. This position reports to the General Manager and is responsible to direct the operation and maintenance of the water utility and distribution system to ensure appropriate water and water quality to customers in a safe and cost effective manner and in accordance with strict governmental regulations. This position requires a background in water treatment, water management or related field. A minimum of five to seven years work experience in a municipal class AB water utility is required. Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain DNR Grade 1 Certifications D, G, I, & L. Successful candidate must have the ability to lead others, plan ahead, manage and prioritize, problem solve, communicate effectively, maintain effective working relationships and have a strong customer orientation.
