Essential tasks/responsibilities: 1. Provide technical leadership and mentoring in the analysis, design,and development of Web-based clinical workstation applications. 2. Responsibilities include project life-cycle planning, coordination of technical tasks, implementation of development methodologies, and analysis and recommendation of appropriate software tools and system hardware. 3. Expert knowledge of developing Web-based GUI applications 4. Able to perform and coordinate simple to complex projects with direction 5. Able to effectively communicates specific IT issues/solutions to others 6. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Education/training Required: Bachelors degree in a Math or Computer Science related field, or equivalent technical training and work experience.
Experience Required: At least four years of experience developing Web-based DotNet 3.5 applications with relational database experience. COM experience a must. Preferred: OOP and relational database experience with DB2 and Oracle is highly desired.
Special competencies/credentials Required: Experience with Web development using Microsoft Web development technologies: C++, C#, MFC, ATL, COM, ASP, ASP.Net, and Java Scripting. Preferred: A positive can do attitude is an absolute must, as is the ability to contribute to team synergy. Must be able to communicate well with peers and management, both verbally and in writing.
Hourly rate up to $30 to $45 depending on experience.
