Job Description
Kellogg Company has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accounting Manager in our Seelyville, IN Plant. This position is responsible for maintaining standard cost system; directing cost accounting function in accordance with Company guidelines; interpreting and rendering advise/analytical analysis regarding production cost variances; responsible for the accuracy of raw and package material inventories; and integrally involved in the period and year-end closing process.Additional responsibilities include:
1. Has overall responsibility for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Plants standard cost accounting system.
2. Directs all Plant cost accounting activities.
3. Has responsibility for the accuracy of raw and package material inventories.
4. Integrally involved in the period-end cost closing process.

Bachelor degree in Finance and / or accounting and three years of relevant work experience required

  • Prefer experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent PC computing skills / literacy. Advanced proficiency with Excel

  • Prefer costing analysis experience

  • SAP experience a plus.
