Come see what you are missing!Role Summary/PurposeThe Electromagnetic Design Engineer will perform in depth aerospace generator, motor, and transformer design modeling, simulation, and analysis using the Ansoft magnetics finite element simulation tool resulting in generator designs that meet or exceed the product requirements. The engineer will work in a team environment on multiple diverse projects. The engineer will also support bid and proposal requests for new product design to support performance, weight, volume, and cost estimates. Essential Responsibilities Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college. At least 4 years prior experience performing electromagnetics design using electromagnetics finite element software.

Desired Characteristics Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MS or higher desirable. Experience in performing generator, motor, and transformer designs. Experience using electromagnetics finite element design software desirable, Ansoft RMxpert a plus. Able to design for EMI, thermal, and manufacturing considerations. Experience in designing aerospace products. Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems Able to work well in a collaborative team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skillsWhy join one great company when you can join many?
