Job Description:
Prepares CAD drawings and illustrations in accordance with established format requirements and drawing standards. Provides graphic support and maintains database library for reference. Generate initial CAD drawings for changes to components, systems and sub-systems. Generate revised CAD drawings based upon inputs from engineers, technicians, and technical documentation for changes to components, systems, and sub-systems. Uses computer and recognized systems of symbols and legends to create original drawings that communicate engineering design information. Revise existing drawings based on verbal explanation, sketches, and marked-up prints. Develop drawings in various formats from electronic files of various types. Create/edits charts and images and presentation materials. Maintains database library of all systems including as-built documents
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3 years related experience and/or a combination of education and experience. Requires CADD Training Certification in Pro Engineering (PRO/E). Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.This is a part-time, on-call position.
