JOB DESCRIPTION:

UPS Supply Chain Solutions currently seeking a Customer Care Specialist.  The Customer Care Specialist is familiar with UPSLT software products and capable of providing front-line, remote support to internal and external customers.  This person must effectively communicate to peers concerning difficult customers and technical problems.  Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills are a must.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Provide telephone support to customer, solving software-related problems.

  • Clear and concise data entry of customer interactions in our incident tracking database.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts covering 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

  • Generate training leads and special projects resulting in additional revenue for Customer Service department.

  • Assist with UPSLT software upgrade installations and training.

  • Professionally interact with existing and potential business problems to management and co-workers.

  • Willingness to assist other departments in support of customers.

  • Assist in the development of co-workers.

  • Completion of assigned administrative responsibilities.

Requirements:


  • Minimum one year customer service phone experience.

  • High school diploma or equilvalent.

  • Knowledge of PC hardware and software configurations.

  • Knowledge of Windows and Server Operating Systems.

  • Global travel.

Additional Skills:


  • College degree preferred.

  • Familiar with Relational Databases, Oracle, SQL Server.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Products especially Access.

  • Basic Citrix and Terminal Services experience a plus.
