The Quality Assurance Group Leader, reporting the the QA Manager, will supervise, lead, plan, organize, guide, monitor, employee accomplishments within the QA supply chain group in Lakeview to assure efficient and effective contribution to organization objectives. • Interpret and execute policies that typically affect individual QA employees;
• Define specific job roles and responsibilities for the QA supply chain staff;
• Develop SOPS for QA supply chain processes;
• Complete a resource review of needs for the QA supply chain area;
• Implement Lead practices focusing on error reduction;
• Implementation of Quality systems such as incoming sampling, testing and release, line checks and finished product release and out of specification process and review;
• Make decisions and recommendations may have a significant impact on meeting unit objectives, project schedules and resource allocations;
• Contacts are primarily with interdivisional and intradivisional subordinates, peers, and next level of department management;
• Develop and implement short-term objectives to maintain fiscal year and long-term unit goals and objectives;
• Motivate and develop unit staff to achieve effective teamwork, as well as appropriate cooperation/contact/ communication with other departments in the division and organization;
• Communicate project status information effectively up line, laterally and downline;
