Description Local Market Sales Representative

This position will be responsible for maximizing revenue within the Fox River Valley market and insurance replacement segments. The customer base is comprised of, but not limited to: local businesses, body shops, automobile dealerships and mechanical repair facilities, insurance agents and claim offices.

The Local Market Sales Representative will be responsible for growth of local markets through joint sales efforts in conjunction with District Manager of Sales and Development and location supervisors, through effectively promoting Avis products and services, maintaining and developing existing and new customers, and maximizing business growth and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities -
• Develop a thorough knowledge of Avis / Budget products and insurance replacement services
• Qualify and secure new local business opportunities and strengthen existing local accounts
• Develop and implement strategies to drive local market and insurance replacement sales opportunities, revenue growth and market share
• Build, maintain and follow up with referral relationships to maximize local referral opportunities
• Deliver effective presentations including proposals to customers and marketing updates to management
• Identify, respond and address concerns with customers and provide win-win solutions that add value
• Provide input and proposals to Management on negotiated rates and contract terms to help solidify pending deals
• Close deals and effectively communicate the value of Avis and Budget services and how they will meet the customers needs and business objectives
• Maintain up to date account files, proposals, business agreements and sales tracking logs
• Send weekly market updates to Management
• Send weekly schedule of planned visits, research plans and sales calls for upcoming week to Management
• Provide input and strive to achieve and exceed quarterly sales & revenue goals set by Management
• Maintain Avis / Budget standards by providing a professional, service orientated, positive image
• Maximize time management through organization and effective planning
• Maintain account files, report documentation and proposals/bids

Required Experience:
•Post secondary education required
•Minimum of two years successful outside sales/account management utilizing direct sales technique
•Willingness to travel is required (mostly local)
•Valid driver's license and good driving record
