GMAC Financial Services is a global finance company operating in and servicing North America, South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. | Job Description |
The Dealership Insurance Specialist partners with the Account Executive and GMAC field personnel primarily in the Washington andOregonmarkets to grow new accounts and retain and expand existing accounts through representation of GMAC Insurance’s ‘Property and Casualty’ products. (Relocation assistance is not provided)
The Dealership Insurance Specialist will also participate in competitor analysis, market analysis, product evaluation, product training, and periodic reporting of activities and results.
Job Duties:
Sell P&C products in the assigned territory, work collaboratively with other members of the sales team to prospect and conquest new customers, prioritize and manage the opportunity pipeline, and formulate and execute sales strategies.
Coordinate sales activities with all Dealer Product & Services channel partners and ensure recording and reporting of sales results are completed.
Maintain superior product knowledge, contribute to competitor analysis, market information, product evaluations, and provide product training, as required. |

Requirements:
Insurance sales experience
Licensed to market P&C products
Ability to develop business relationships with dealer principles and decision makers
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong desire to continuously improve product knowledge, sales and organizational skills
Well developed business management, presentation and relationship selling skills
High level of accountability and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
Strong problem solving skills and ability to objectively manage conflicting priorities
Dealership operations and insurance product knowledge preferred
Ability to function in a matrix organization
Ability to work with PC applications
Ability to work independently
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of F&I products preferred
