Designer III - Pro/Mechanica, Pro/Mechanism experience
Description:
' Prepare and revise detailed and layout CAD drawings prepared by designers or engineers. ' Create final assembly and subassembly drawings for new or existing products. ' Assist with maintaining engineering files. ' Engineering design skills are required to design, test, and release new products and evolution of current products. ' Interface directly with external customers and suppliers and internally with purchasing, sales, product managers, testing and manufacturing functions. ' Demonstrate a strong understanding of design and CAD fundamentals. ' Responsible for completeness and technical accuracy of design drawings and documents. Evaluate compliance with drawing standards. ' Understand DFMEA and DVP documents and follow concept to customer guidelines. ' Perform basic design calculations necessary for the design of products. Calculations include structural analysis related to stress and fatigue life, geometrical fit, and static load calculations. Understand and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerances of parts and related stack up analysis techniques.
Ability to run FEA (Pro/Mechanica), understand generally how loads are/can be applied, constraints, etc. Must be able to iterate a design to a solution and create FEA reports (Powerpoint, etc) for engineering/management review and approval.

Years experience in basic computer systems, ProE solid modeling, Pro/Mechanica, Pro/Mechanism experience is a plus
