Construction Materials Technician

Description CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
TECHNICIAN
TRC Staffing is seeking a full-time Construction Materials Technician for our
client, an engineering and environmental services firm in middle Tennessee. The
Construction Materials Technician is responsible for sampling and testing soil, concrete,
aggregate, pavements, and masonry on construction sites as well as basic laboratory soil and concrete testing. Applicable construction related experience is preferred but
candidates with consistent work history and strong desire can be trained. A company truck and mobile phone are provided for field work.
Qualified Candidates must have:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid drivers license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) report
* Basic math and writing skills
* Strong work ethic, good communications skills and ability to be a team player
* Proof of eligibility to work in the US
Highly desirable skills include:
* 1-2 years of experience in materials testing
* 2 yr technical degree or more
*Certifications from ICC, ACI, NICET, and AWS
This is a full time position with competitive pay, based on experience.
