POLICE OFFICER
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY
is seeking applicants for two Police Officers for its Campus Police Department. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: receiving, responding and investigating crimes, accidents, and other complaints, and completing related reports; patrolling campus for crime prevention, regulating vehicle and pedestrian traffic at special events; transporting personnel/funds/valuable items; and enforcing all State, local and university ordinances.
Qualifications for this position include: Michigan Commission of Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) certified or certifiable; high school diploma, an Associate's degree is preferred; and prior experience as a police officer or directly related law enforcement position is desirable.
