Great opportunity for a PRN- Physician at our employer's clinic in Boston, MA!
Position Summary Conducting physician exams on Client employees Diagnosing and treating occupational illnesses/injuries Providing brief consultation and acting as a medical consultant with the health unit nursing staff Becoming familiar with the Client's work facility, processes, employee tasks, and health hazards Providing Worker's Compensation medical case management to include: referring employees to medical specialists as needed, and providing follow up to those referrals; consulting with the treatment physician regarding the medical status of injured/ill employee; and evaluating and coordinating various physicians' work restrictions for Client's alternative productive work program. Supervising on-site mid-level practitioner to include collaborative agreement and required medical record review and oversight.
RequirementsRequirements:
Successful completion of a registered physician education program and valid MD or DO state license.
Board certification in a primary care specialty with occupational medicine experience.
Family Care Practice, in a clinic or hospital setting. HMO or managed care experience preferred.
Board certified or eligible in a primary care specialty required.
