Description USA TODAY’s brand licensing department is working on several exciting projects including creating a line of USA TODAY books and magazines, licensing the brand on other new products and licensing USA TODAY’s award-winning content. The Intern will support the Director of Brand Licensing, the Special Projects Editor and Content Licensing Project Lead with compiling content for potential USA TODAY books and magazines using USA TODAY's robust electronic archive, researching potential content and brand licensing partners, and providing general project support. Candidates should have interest in editing/publishing, sales, marketing, business development, book publishing, or related field. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite and strong attention to detail required.This is an unpaid, for-credit internship; a transportation stipend will be provided. Requires current enrollment in an accredited college or university. Candidates will be asked to provide documentation from their school showing that they will receive school credit for successful completion of the internship. We are Metro accessible and provide free parking. We also provide a small transportation stipend to help defray your commuting costs.
