Description
3M Imtec is seeking an individual to assume global responsibility and leadership for the 3M Imtec Supply Chain and Sourcing organization and activities.
Seeking a candidate who is self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must and proven ability to work cohesively on teams comprised of a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Oversee/lead all supply chain, production/material control, and purchasing activities.
- Organize global buy planning / S&OP activities
- Apply Lean Six Sigma to identify, define, and implement new systems and process improvements aimed at service improvement, inventory/cycle time reduction, and cost reduction.
- Supervise department personnel through implementation of human resources policies including hiring, resource allocation, training/development, and performance reviews.
- Minimize inventories by establishing accurate forecasts and strong supplier relationships.
- Evaluate and forecast future systems requirements.
- Review and ensure attainment of established targets for cost, cash, and service.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain / materials management or engineering preferred.
- Prefer 3+ years experience in Supply Chain and/or Purchasing roles.
- Lean Six Sigma GB/BB training.
- Lean implementation
- Knowledge, implementation, and utilization of 3M procurement, material control, and manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of GMP and FDA device regulations
- Previous supervisory/managerial experience
- Additionally, APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification is preferred.
