Civil Engineer ' El Paso -Acts as a single point of contact for all civil engineering operations, maintenance functions and related tasks. -Provides overall work management, administration and control of 8 different regional work sites. -Minimal (less than 5%) travel required. -Responsible for supervising 8 other regional engineers. -Target start date: ASAP.
RESPONSIBILITIES: -Provide engineering technical assistance and expertise for all work requirements to sites and to the government. -Manages conduct of initial and annual inspections of installations to evaluate, identify and document facility and system deficiencies in civil / structural, electrical, mechanical and environmental areas. -Ensure survey inspection includes status / conditions of current projects, proposed projects, facility interiors, exteriors, slabs, foundations, roads, grounds, drainage systems, utility systems, power generation equipment, fire detection / protection equipment and physical security aids. -Control all civil engineering work according to overall maintenance control pln. -Schedule work requirements to perform services, preventative maintenance, routine corrective maintenance and minor emergency maintenance. -Prepare and maintain a 12 month schedule of work to effectively allocate resources. -Document monthly work status reports. -Identify, develop and submit all project requirements to include modification or proposed improvement to existing real property, real property installed equipment (RPIE) or real property similar equipment (RPSE) and new construction to enhance overall program operations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: -Bachelor of Science degree with an engineering concentration and 5 years of practical civil engineering experience.
