Job Description

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial, industrial and military uses. Sikorsky helicopters are used by all five branches of the United States armed forces, along with military services and commercial operators in more than 40 nations. Based in Stratford, Connecticut, USA, Sikorsky has outlying facilities in other Connecticut locations as well as in Florida and Alabama.


Sikorsky is establishing a joint venture in the United Arab Emirates and is seeking interest of Air Base Operations managers across UTC to fill a 3 to 18 month assignment until the permanent position is filled.
The responsibilities for the temporary assignment include;
Perform program planning and control activities to support Government and Advanced Programs. The Program Scheduler will be responsible for collaborating with management and team members to plan, create, monitor and analyze resource loaded network schedules for program schedule performance and schedule related metrics. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Integrated Master Schedule (IMSs) are networked in order to perform Critical Path analysis and reconciliation. The candidate will conduct weekly/monthly detailed analysis for major Program Events. The candidate will analyze key intermediate milestones in order to provide status updates to the Integrated Master Plan (IMP). The candidate will coordinate with major suppliers to collect and deliver current schedule information. The candidate will be responsible for schedule baseline management and control as well as assisting in weekly/monthly variance analysis. The candidate will assist in proposal generation, costing and cost/schedule integration. Integration of Risk Management Cube and mitigation plans. The candidate shall have good interpersonal communication, writing and presentation skills and be able to prepare and present briefing materials to management and customers in an efficient and professional manner. Perform required schedule assessments using Risk Management tools such as Pert Master.


Job Requirements

BS/BA Degree with concentration in technical or operational management discipline, or 4 years minimum application experience.

Requires earned value knowledge, scheduling, and critical path analysis. Requires knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, winsight, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Risk Management, and SAP.



This temporary assignment is located in the United Arab Emirates full time.
