Retail Wireless Field Team Supervisor - Glendale, CA

Job Description 

Retail Wireless Field Team Supervisors will:
  • Be primary point-of-contact and supervisory presence in the technical service department of a major wireless carrier's retail location.
  • Provide hands-on support and leadership to Wireless Customer Service Associates.
  • Ensure service delivered by Associates meets and exceeds Client's needs and contractual obligations.
  • Direct all operation activities including but not limited to: staff scheduling, on the job training and development, and administration/reporting.
  • Manage weekly staff schedules, meal breaks, and rest periods with precision.
  • Mentor new technicians on RTS policies, practices, and processes.
  • Meet minimal quota for non-commissioned up-selling of accessory equipment such as phone chargers, ear pieces, enhanced features, etc.
  • Establish strong rapport and trust with customers.
  • Program, troubleshoot and test cell phones and equipment.
  • Instruct customers on proper use of cell phones and equipment.
  • Accurately document customer interactions in multiple platforms.
Compensation Package to include:
  • Pay rate will commensurate with experience; eligible to receive quarterly bonus.

Job Requirements  

  •  Entry level leadership skills including motivating and coaching retail associates.
  • Two years of customer service and sales experience in a retail environment.
  • Proven record of consistently providing positive customer experiences.
  • An interest in selling and a desire to learn sales techniques in a  non-commissioned, retail environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Comfortable navigating in Windows operating systems.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Professional, neat appearance.
  • Ability to work retail hours, which may include rotating schedules nights, weekends, holidays and some overtime.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a complete background verification including but not limited to: Education, Employment, Credit, Criminal, and Drug Screen. Qualified applicants cannot have an unresolved outstanding wireless bill.
