The Clinical Dietitian provides nutritional care as a member of the healthcare team. The Clinical Dietitian assesses nutritional needs of patients; develops and implements nutritional care plans; communicates pertinent information to the nutritional care of the patient through the medical record. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field and completion of an approved American Dietetic Association (dietetic internship or coordinated undergraduate) program. Must be registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must be registered within one year of employment. Maintains accreditation status through continued education credits or required by the American Dietetic Association. At least one year experience in clinical dietetics and food production as obtained in internship or job experience required.
