Building and fire code consulting, fire protection system design and associated calculations, evaluation of existing fire protection systems, life safety surveys / studies, application and evaluation of fire resistive construction, The fire protection engineer must work closely as part of a team of fire protection professionals and with our clients which requires good oral and written communication skills. Will be required to interface with building and fire officials and make presentations to clients and these officials. Project management and marketing activities are also required in fulfillment of job responsibilities. B.S. in fire protection or related engineering/code consulting discipline.  Professional registration desirable.  Minimum 5 years broad range experience.  High level interpersonal, technical communication and computer skills. Provides consulting services to assigned clients.  Provides technical services for project team.  Contributes to the marketing and sales efforts of the company. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of building and fire code.
