Responsible to the Manager for the utilization of the nursing process, effective teaching and communication skills. Directs activities of assigned nursing personnel. Participates in quality assessment activities. Contributes to development of nursing standards of care and practice. Performs additional responsibilities in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Demonstrates fidelity to Saint Margaret Mercy Healthcare Centers mission; displays a high regard for human life and respects the dignity, uniqueness, worth and rights of each individual. The Clinical Nurse is required to be qualified to care for newborn, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients applicable to area of assignment. EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, AD, BSN, Diploma. Must hold current Indiana nursing license. Must have CPR certification. EXPERIENCE: One year of recent nursing experience in the acute care setting or related specialty area preferred.
