We currently have a Sr. Payroll Coordinator career opportunity at our Dallas, TX location. JOB PURPOSE:
Coordinate and process payrolls in a Multi-EIN and Multi-State environment for exempt and non-exempt employees ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Update and audit employee payroll masterfile and tax records for biweekly and weekly payrolls
Processing that includes, but not limited to, new hires, STD/LTD, wage assignments, relocation, expatriate compensation, additional pays, bonus and commissions, direct deposit and paycards, and terminations;
Maintenance employee records and interface non-exempt and hourly employee hours from an automated time system
Processing, balancing, transmitting, and receiving payrolls to and from payroll service provider
Auditing payroll output and assist with general ledger inquiries
Calculating and creating manual checks and adjustments
Assist with various payroll, benefit and tax reconciliations and audits
Create and provide data reporting in various formats as required
Provide excellent customer service to employees and management
Follow prescribed procedures and workflow
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
General clerical duties. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
High school diploma
Payroll related training and/or workshops Experience
Minimum of 5-years full-time payroll processing experience in multi-EIN/State environment
Shared services environment a plus Specialized Knowledge
APA FPC certification, or in process of obtaining within next 6-months
Report writing skills
Excel and Word at an intermediate level a must
ADP PayForce and Enterprise eTime (v6.1) a plus Other Qualifications /Qualities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Possess excellent organizational and analytical skills
Resourceful and detail oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
