Our customer a leader in the food processing industry is in search of a Shift Maintenance Manager for their state of the art facility in Rochester, NY.
The Shift Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supervision, maintenance and repair for the operation. This will include all building, tradesman, and contractors, while always insuring the work is completed in the safest, most efficient, professional method and within regulations and standards.
Duties & Responsibilities: Plan shift work and goals Supervision of Mechanics and Electricians Complete walk-troughs of assigned areas. Focus on reduction for downtime & scrap as well as improving quality and processing methods. Review of employees, identify needed training area and develop training programs. Ensure all guidelines, procedures and standards or complied with. Track and record all related and required documentation. Develop superior knowledge of the site, machinery and operation. Ability to provide innovative approaches and design to difficult problems. Proficient in machine/fabrication as related to a manufacturing facility. Proficient in computer usage and business related applications.
Education and Experience: Two year degree or equivalent vocational training. Three years of experience in this position. 

2 year degree or equivalent vocational training. 3 years of experience.
