The Human Resource Associate (HRA) will assist in the delivery of transactional human resources support to business clients in the areas of on-boarding, organizational changes, performance management, and compensation and benefits. This individual will provide administrative and project support for the HR team for HR initiatives including Talent Management, the annual compensation process, the employee survey and HR reporting.

Responsibilities include:
  • Enter employee transactions into the HRIS database (HR WorkWays/Peoplesoft). These transactions include, but are not limited to: new hire processing, employee terminations, promotions, title changes, transfers, salary adjustments, referral bonuses and tuition reimbursement.
  • Lead case management resolution with HR Service Center on payroll and benefits issues; support employees and managers by researching and resolving issues to ensure successful close-out.
  • Conduct the new hire orientation process (review necessary forms, information and other services, policies and procedures the company has).
  • Assist on a variety of projects and initiatives including Talent Management, Year-End Compensation (TCM), Employee Survey etc.
  • Produce and distribute various on-going and ad hoc reports including headcount, performance management and turnover.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employees and colleagues in person, via phone, and via email in a professional and personable manner.
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion.
  • Assist in preparation of administrative items related to the human resources process
  • Job Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent in related work experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative ability
  • Experience in Human Resources or highly-regulated service industry preferred
  • Solid PC skills with proficiency in MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Knowledge of and experience with HRIS (PeopleSoft preferred)
  • Must be detailed and proactive
  • Demonstrated ability to work well individually, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality
  • Strong results orientation required
  • Available to work overtime, as necessary
