Job Description
** Martin Methodist College *** General Manager for a small food service account with 400 boarders, some retail food service, and catering. This account is located about 1 1/2 hours from Nashville TN. Excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next step.* The ideal candidate will have - - college/university food service GM experience, - experience training and leading a food service staff, - resident dining management experience, - experience with food and labor management systems, - experience writing budgets and managing to those budgets, - contract food service GM experience, - a culinary degree
Position Summary:
Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Basic Education Requirement:
Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:
2 year(s) of lead/supervisory/management experience
Basic Functional Experience Required:
