Senior Environmental Professional I (HDR/e2M) - map it!US-VA-Fairfax

Description

HDR e2M is currently in need of a Senior Environmental Professional for our Fairfax, VA location. This individual will be working in one or more of our Special Access Programs within our environmental, health, and safety group. This will include access to sensitive compartmented information. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, providing on-site support as an environmental, health and safety professional to clients as well as providing field service support and guidance to achieve and maintain compliance with regulatory matters specific to the following environmental program areas:

•Hazardous waste management and onsite operation support
•Wastewater permitting and compliance reporting
•Air Emissions inventories and permitting
•Environmental Management System (EMS) - ISO 14001 implementation
•Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan development and implementation
•Identifying potential environmental, health and safety problem areas and proposed corrective actions
•Providing analysis of environmental, health and safety program performance and effectiveness and projections for long-term requirements

Requirements

BS degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or in a related discipline required.
10+ years of equivalent experience which should include knowledge and familiarity of how to work in a high/national security environment is required.
This individual must possess a IC/TS Security Clearance.
Must be detail-oriented with excellent presentation/communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and multi-tasking ability are essential to this role.
