POSITION SUMMARY
Qualified candidate will be responsible for Care Management department including daily operations, oversight, planning and execution of all initiatives related to the Care Management department; Meeting and implementing all corporate-wide and regulatory initiatives;
Directing and motivating all disciplines; Serving as a resource to the leadership team; Meeting and exceeding State Contractual requirements and obligations.
 
  • Analyze healthcare data for trends
  • Communicate effectively across various cultural groups
  • Create metrics to measure achievement of the operating plan
  • Create staffing strategies to support business and financial plans
  • Identify business, process, system, or policy change requirements
  • Interpret contracts
     
  • Deal decisively with performance problems
  • Mentor employees to maximize performance
  • Set individual performance expectations for staff Understanding Clinical Impacts
  • Provide employees with development opportunities to prepare for career growth
  • Project Team Management
  • Requirements REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Superb communication skills
  • Experience with business development and RFP preparation and review
  • Skilled in performance management
  • Proven leadership record
  • Skilled in project management
  • Experience with managed care and Medicaid
  • Familiarity with complex care management
  • Successful record of clinical operations
  • Skilled in quality improvement and regulatory compliance such as HEDIS and EQR
  • Meet and exceed all regulatory and contract obligations and requirements
  • Proactively identify and prepare for all business, processes, system and policy changes and requirements

    EDUCATION
  • BSN Degree or equivalent degree
  • MBA or related degrees highly desired

    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • Active Unrestricted IN license (if applicable)
  • Nurses: Case Management
  • Nurses: Concurrent Review/discharge planning
  • Leadership: Act as company spokesperson to external constituents
  • Management: Management Multifunctional management :> 25 employees
  • Leadership: Lead a complex or multifunctional organization

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
