Overview:
This individual will be responsible to deliver the HV Global Utility sales versus plan in developing countries (outside main Europe) as well as managing a team that will drive the core sales team to deliver the HV plan and managing the Global team and forecast on a weekly/monthly basis. Other key tasks include:
* Managing a world-wide team and motivating them to build strong customer relationships (internal and external)
* Manage and develop the Utility sales support teams in the different regions
* Develop good communication between production planning, customer service, quality and customer
* Required to liaise with product management to develop product leads and designs creating new opportunities
* Required to have good industry knowledge
* Build a sales strategy with product management
* Responsible for keeping management informed of the progress, status and direction of assigned product lines
* Responsible for increasing sales and market share through all applicable channels. Consistent within the profitability guidelines established by management
* International travel will be expected
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
* Marketing and/or business training
* 10 years successful sales in the HV market
* 5 years in managing key accounts
* 5 years as a manager of people
Individual must have product knowledge, be self motivated, take initiative, have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills and industry knowledge. Individual must be willing to travel internationally.
