ASSOCIATE CRITERIA FOR PLACEMENT

Criteria on what we are looking for in a potential candidate for driving position

• Applicants must have verifiable work history up to 5 years. No gaps of unemployment. If so, we identify why they have gaps,and if this is acceptable or not.


• Minimum of 2 Reference Checks


• Excellent Attendance Record


• Clean criminal background for past 7 years in all counties of residence. No offenses for misdemeanor convictions related todrugs, theft, and violence. Any convictions in question will be sent to Customer for approval. Absolutely no felonies.


• Must have a valid Driver’s License with none of the following on their Motor Vehicle Record.


• Must be able to lift 15 lbs. continuously. Anything over 40 lbs – they must ask for assistance.


• Must sit in vehicle for entire shift.


• Submit and pass a pre employment drug screen

The following would disqualify candidate for position:

• The license is revoked or suspended.


• Violations total more than 3 points within the past three years.


• Any one major violation has occurred in the past three years.


• Any DWI/DUI violation has occurred in the past ten years.


• The occurrence of 3 or more minor violations within the past three years.


• No terminations from past employment


• No previous attendance issues and/or “No calls/No Shows” on previous assignments or work history.

 The perfect candidate is:

•  Must have a working cell phone incase of emergency


• Owns or has previous GPS experience. Garmin GPS experience is a plus.


• Previous professional driving experience preferred, Commercial Driver’s license A, B, or C is a plus but not required.


• Quality driven, team player, and has a strong sense of right and wrong. Attendance is critical. Good communicator, problem solvers that leave the drama at home. Must be computer literate with the basics and be able read, write English and differentiate colors. Associates must easily read and interpret road signs
