Provide administrative, clerical, marketing and sales support to lending personnel and customers to contribute to development and expansion of retail and wholesale mortgage lending relationships. Coordinates activities to contribute to achievement of volume, loan quality and profit objectives. Assist in acquisition and maintenance of qualified brokers and lenders to originate, deliver and sell investment quality mortgages to HSBC Mortgage Corporation. Work independently and in conjunction with sales personnel identifying and acquiring new accounts, while retaining existing accounts. Serve as liaison with lending personnel and customers, via in-person meetings or phone for marketing-related support, quality control monitoring and other performance-related disciplines required for sales activities. Provide back-up support to originators by maintaining relationships and support for referral sources, including realtors, attorneys, builders, branches and other production sources.

Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate's degree in business, related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of three years proven and progressive mortgage lending support experience, or equivalent
Proven communications, decision-making, customer service, sales, support, problem-solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills
Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages
Ability to work independently, handle detail and maintain confidentiality
