QUALITY MANAGER - ANALOG AEROSPACE ELECTRONICS / DEFENSE MANUFACTURING

Reporting directly to the Plant G.M., this position will manage Quality Control & Compliance to all Federal, State and Customer Rules, Regulations and Specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Quality Department, Quality System and Regulation compliance.
- Provide interface with Customer and Supplier Quality Departments and Registration agencies.
- Maintain data files and provide analysis in support of AS 9100.
- Prepare and perform department employee annual performance reviews.
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of applicable policies and procedures.
- 3-5 yrs. aerospace quality management experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree, Engineering with a Minimum of 10 years experience in Aerospace or Defense related business in Quality Assurance. Math and Science oriented AA degree in lieu of a four year Engineering BS acceptable
- Experience in a manufacturing business with AS 9100 or ISO 9001 certification.
- Experience in a manufacturing businesses with less than 100 and a business with more than 300 employees.
MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE:
- Personal Computer – Data Base Management systems and Microsoft Office.
