Director, Diversity Education and Training
The Director of Diversity Education and Training will lead the enterprise-wide strategy for diversity and inclusion education and training with the objective of increasing awareness, understanding and engagement. This newly created position will report to the Vice President, Global Diversity and Inclusion, and will create an effective and collaborative training strategy to address the needs of the hourly, professional and executive audiences across the company. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop and lead diversity and inclusion initiatives, including diversity training, e-learning initiatives and diverse high potential mentoring Collaborate and partner with HR business professionals, business unit executives and professionals and other stakeholders to identify and address diversity education and training and leadership development needs Manage the delivery of training and leadership programs developed in-house and procured from external vendors Identify, develop and foster relationships with industry thought leaders, consultants, vendors, and partners
10 to 15 total years experience with 3 to 6 years of training, organization development, and/or adult education or related experience in a large corporate, decentralized environment 2 to 5 years experience of diversity education in a corporate setting Experience working with ethnic and diverse groups Knowledge of current trends in program design, development and facilitation Ability to manage the demands of multiple stakeholders and balance multiple priorities Exceptional presentation, facilitation, communication, influencing and organizational skills Exceptional collaboration skills Proven ability to function in a consultative role for a variety of client groups Must be able to interact with all levels of management and clients from various backgrounds Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred Bi-lingual Spanish, preferred Experience creating education and training programs for international audiences, preferred The position requires approximately 20% travel.
