Executive Loan Administrative Assistant

MUST HAVE 3+ YEARS OF BANK EXPERIENCE IN LOAN DOCUMENTATION AND ADMINISTRATION. Professional executive-level administrative assistant experience is preferred.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the NE Tarrant County Area President in various executive duties. Performs all required secretarial functions with discretion and sensitivity including providing excellent customer service, screening telephone calls, maintaining numerous confidential files and account information, and processing loan documentation. Will assist other lending functions as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school degree or equivalent is required with some vocational training in secretarial skills.
Experience: The minimum required job-related experience needed to demonstrate competence to perform the job is three years with an emphasis on administrative assistance, loan documentation and varied banking and secretarial experience.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
1. Tact and diplomacy in dealing with customers, officers, and employees.
2. Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure.
3. Requires high level of organizational, interpersonal, communications, and customer relations skills for representing Executive Officers of the Bank.
4. Must have the ability to communicate effectively to customers, superiors, and peers.
5. Good problem solving skills.
6. Ability to analyze and prioritize projects and information.
7. Must be able to multi-task, be able to work with minimal supervision, and be a team player.
8. Able to work well under pressure and tolerate constant interruptions.
9. Requires high level of mental concentration and attention to detail for accurately performing tasks.
10. Proficient use of a computer with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Suite software.
11. Professional secretarial skills and project a professional appearance.
12. Pleasant and professional telephone skills.
13. Knowledge of bank regulations.
14. Strong sales skills and ability to recognize cross-sell opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs public relations to include:
a. Calls customers, and screens incoming calls and takes messages for the Area President. Responds independently when possible.
b. Researching and solving customer questions
c. Manages the Area President’s calendar and schedules meetings and appointments
d. Performing Notary Public services
e. Greeting customers and assisting them with service inquiries
2. Prepares loan documentation and other supporting documentation
3. Performs executive administrative assistant duties to include:
a. Manages and types correspondence for the Area President
b. Maintains confidentiality of bank, personnel and research matters
c. Produces and distributes various daily and monthly reports
d. Creates and maintains spreadsheets
e. Maintains numerous confidential document files and account information
4. Performs other job related duties as assigned.
