Job Description:  GENERAL FUNCTION: This is a key leadership position in a small affiliate responsible for managing the TM Sales Team. The general responsibilities include: Sales Management; Recruit new talent, inside and outside the organization; Development professional sales staff; Generate revenue from sales of cash management services; Coordinate product training of assigned relationship management groups; and Ensure timely TM product implementationESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Sales Management o Establish group and individual sales goals aligned with Affiliate Plano Assign individual TM sales personnel to appropriate RM groupso Review weekly closed, billed and pipeline sales reportso Review and submit all requisite TM incentive pay information monthlyo Identify and implement new revenue opportunitieso Actively call on top prospects and customers with sales teamo Devise and implement calling strategy to meet call quotaso Use Customer Treasury Management Reviews as tool to generate cross-sells and price increaseso Provide marketplace feedback and recommendations to product management staff* Recruiting and Top-grading o On-going talent search of competitorso Joint calling to assess and improve sales skill levels of recent hireso Ensuring all employees (RMs and TMs) complete specified TM product and sales training classes o Consistent periodic review of sales results relative to incentive plan goals; establish corrective * Action plans for those not achieving desired sales results* Sales of Cash Management Products and Services o Devise and execute plan to achieve personal sales goalso Assist RMs in meeting departmental goals for deposits and business service chargeso Demonstrate proficiency in sales of all TM productso Demonstrate ability to target prospectso Demonstrate ability to recognize creative TM solutions* Relationship Group Assignment o Maintain good lines of communications with RMs individually and as a groupo Review TM sales and deposit goals with RMs monthly o Inform RMs of new product development scheduleo Become familiar with nuances of business specialty groups* Customer Service o Deliver timely resolution of customer issueso Develop knowledge of internal resources for quick and accurate response to customer issueso Complete and submit TM problem log weekly* Product Implementation o Ensure proper account set-up documentation and agreements are executedo Verify proper pricing and billingo Track implementation progresso Understand and communicate implementation time-lines to align with customer expectationsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback. Developing employees to their full potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth. Developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning. Recognize and reward employees for accomplishments.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. CCM and/or MBA preferred. 10+ years experience in a cash management sales environment. Demonstrated knowledge of a wide array of cash management products. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communications skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks; demonstrated sales and negotiating experience; Microsoft Word and Excel experience necessary.
