POSITION SUMMARY: Obtain and exceed sales objectives through development of assigned National/Regional/Independent indirect retail sites for Comcast Products (Internet Service, Digital Cable, etc.).
MAJOR DUTIES(May perform any or all of the following duties): Daily coordination of indirect retail accounts that market Comcast products. Train retail sales associates and managers in knowledge of Comcast products, usage, features and benefits. Develop on-going relationships with retail management, sales personnel and where appropriate - regional/district account contacts. Ensure proper appearance/functionality of Point-of-Purchase(POP)displays, Digital Cable TV's, Computers, etc. Work with local markets to ensure staffing of retail events and staffing of Comcast associates at stores. Managing/selling at retail events. Drive local marketing events. Maintain communication and implementation of marketing programs and promotions with indirect locations and provide appropriate feedback to supervisor. All activities driven to attain and exceed sales goals and objectives as assigned by supervisor. Coordinate with supervisor on development of those goals. Communicate with the Marketing Departments within Comcast to promote stores/products, as necessary thru supervisor. Maintain accurate sales reporting per store and suggest/implement ideas and incentives to improve performance. Maintain accurate and updated information on competitors and provide appropriate feedback. Train store on advantages of Comcast products. Report daily call report and planned weekly schedule to supervisor. Investigate all addresses, node information and serviceability issues, which may hinder sales in Go to Broadband database/Broadband Tools'. Participate in events that may be on weekdays and weekends, assisting retail sales associates in sales process to obtain objectives. Report new account information to supervisor, prospect for new accounts as directed. Improve upon sales presentation, product knowledge and attend sales meetings as required. Resolve any and all customer issues as necessary, always properly representing the company. Other duties as assigned. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Job Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent oral and written communication skills. PC proficiency and ability to utilize Microsoft Office Products - Excel, Word, Outlook PowerPoint. Ability to act independently and work under pressure. Self-motivated, professional appearance. Must be a team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes quickly.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in business or the recognized equivalent in work experience or a combination of work experience and education.
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years retail sales experience and training abilities; business to business sales experience a plus. WORKING CONDITIONS: Extensive travel, must own reliable transportation, and have a good driving record. Must be able to work evenings and weekends (flexible hours and duties). Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Maintain professional personal appearance at all times. Must be able to enter and exit Retail and Business locations.
