Job Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for department-wide sales of personal investment products, such as mutual funds, Savings Life Insurance or other types of insurance products, and annuity products to individual retail customers to ensure profitability and satisfy customer needs. Will be responsible for developing a platform program for LRAs and provide coaching and development.
The salary for this position is $78,100-$100,378. The schedule is a 40 hour work week M-F 8am-5pm.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. In addition, a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
Incumbent must have 4+ years direct sales experience in investments or related products.
Must have 2+ years management in a financial services sales environment.
Must have NASD Series 7, 24, and 63.
Must have general knowledge of the securities industry regulations.
The incumbent will manage a team of 6-8 Financial Advisors while exercising the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations.
The candidate is responsible for ensuring that Financial Advisors and LRAs maintain an up-to-date familiarity with the current personal investment products portfolio to ensure optimum marketing potential.
Must direct the activities of retail Financial Advisors and Licensed Retail Associates (LRA) to maintain a high level of profitable sales.
This individual will be held accountable for not only the retail investment team's goals but also their own individual goals as well.
Incumbent must have superior customer service skills and inform customers of current market trends, recommending appropriate investment strategies, and seeing that the proper market transactions are executed.
Must have a successful record in direct sales of investments or related products.
Incumbent must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent listening ability.
Incumbent must have working knowledge of MS office applications.

The physical demands described below must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Incumbent will be required to stand for intermittent periods of time.
- Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
- The incumbent will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, push items over head, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The incumbent will also be required to talk, hear, and see.
- This position requires regular lifting and moving of up to 10 lbs.
