These are just a few of the many components that make up the supportive environment here at Hoag.The Clinical Adoptions Change Specialist will collaborate with the Director, Clinical Adoption in helping make change initiatives to meet the business, schedule and budget objectives. This will include, but not be limited to, changes in workflow processes, systems, and technology. The Clinical Adoptions Change Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing change management plans that minimize clinician’s resistance and maximize clinician engagement in adoption of new technology as it relates to clinical information systems. This person will support and act as coach for the Clinical Adoption team in developing strategies for integration of change management and coordinate activities around organization changes and readiness. They will be responsible to lead impact assessments, communication plans and assist with organizational design to support clinical transformation initiatives. Essential Functions: Apply a structured change management approach and methodology created by design sessions and change effortsDevelop a change management strategy based on situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by changeWork with the clinical adoption analyst in adoption and change management methodologies to ensure successful outcomesEnsure that a system is in place for documentation of workflow process and updatesIdentify potential staff-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concernsConduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings to the clinical adoption teamDevelop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans – including communication plans, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management planSupport the execution of plans by the managers and clinical staff leadersCreate and mange measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changesIdentify resistance and performance gaps and work to develop and implement corrective actionsCreate and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of successWork with the clinical adoption team to integrate change management activities into the overall project planWork with communication, training, human resources and organizational specialist in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project implementationInteract with project sponsors, stakeholders and various project members to ensure that specified business needs are met.Assist in the post-implementation analysis to ensure that requirements are fulfilled. Position may require travel between various Hoag Hospital’s (Hoag) locations and its affiliates. Position may require participation in 24/7 department on-call program. On-call employees are required to carry a department issued cellular phone or pager, respond to calls within 15 minutes, troubleshoot problem and provide services off-site as needed and be available to provide services on-site as needed within 1 ½ hours of being called or paged to respond.Position may require participating in meetings outside of normal business hours including occasional evenings and/or weekends. Position is located in a support department which operates a call center 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide support and service. Operations include 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Employees may be required to pick up shifts outside of their standard assignment for coverage due to vacations, holidays, staff shortages, or other special circumstances as determined by leadership.Application Process:
