Key Accountabilities:
This position will be based out of the Minneapolis area.
Drive Traffic and Sales for Minneapolis based DMA restaurants
Manage the implementation of tactical LSM programs that support agreed upon traffic and comp sales goals. Such programs may include, but are not limited to those that support brand initiatives (i.e. Late Night, Carside To Go), neighborhood activation programs, incentive contests, beverage marketing programs, suggestive sell initiatives, and opportunity/down unit plans.
Manage creative work and timelines for LSM initiatives within designated territory.
Track LSM programs including ROI, and share results with senior members of the field marketing and operations team.
Manage DMA wide events and programs such as partnerships and sponsorships.
Set measurable goals for all marketing programs whilst managing under budgets.
Maintains a calendar of local marketing events.
Deliver National Programs to local markets
Ensure that all National Marketing programs are executed as intended in the local DMA. This may involve working with local media representative to ensure appropriate message is distributed in the market, as well as coordinating with agency field and brand teams.
Ensure appropriate placement of POP materials
Ensure that all POP materials are in place as required in all restaurants with in assigned territory.
Fiscal Management
Work with Senior Marketing Manager to manage company marketing budgets by accounting period to ensure spending is on-budget within the DMA. This includes tracking of LSM program spending and invoices.
Work with Senior Marketing Manager to re-allocate budgets as needed.
Acts as Marketing liaison for field and support center associates
Establish and maintain the systems and processes necessary to allow smooth and effective flow of marketing communication.
Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers and staff.
Organizes, coordinates and schedules internal and off-site meetings and projects relating to the DMA
Coordinates and communicates meetings.
Monitors schedule of upcoming events and deadlines to fulfill planning needs of the department; compiles information and prepares documentation for presentations and meetings.
Develops local charitable relationships and activities
Works with local charities to develop and support local fundraising activities.
Job Requirements
Ideal candidate will have:
EDUCATION, TRAINING & CERTIFICATION:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing field.
Computer skills, such as Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project
EXPERIENCE IN SIMILAR ROLE OR FUNCTION:
REQUIRED:
2-3 years experience as a Marketing Specialist or related position.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
Experience in multi-unit restaurant environment
DESIRED:
A mixture of multi unit restaurant operations and marketing experience a plus.
