Kaplan Higher Education is opening a new campus, Kaplan College, in the Charlotte area. This is a rare opportunity to be a part of a team and help build a campus from the ground up.

We are currently searching for an experienced Executive Director to create an environment for the fulfillment of educational goals. You will provide leadership and management of human resources development, strategic and operational planning, fiscal planning and control, physical resources, instructional programs, institutional marketing/advancement, and economic and workforce development. You will be challenged to grow the school and enhance our programs.

We are dedicated to providing quality programs that integrate the curriculum with professional skill development, empowering students to achieve their lifelong personal and professional goals. We are committed to providing a practical, student-centered service and support approach to education within a diverse community.

You will drive the fulfillment of educational goals through your skill to direct educational planning, lead your staff, and guide educational programs.

What you will do:
Total P&L responsibility
Oversee campus operations and all staff
Management of Directors responsible for Admissions, Education, Financial Aid, Career Services and Student Services
Maintain School's Accreditation status, both Federal & State

Job Requirements

Skills you will need:
Experience as a Proprietary School Executive Director essential
Masters degree is REQUIRED
Strong leadership skills
Ability to manage & motivate professionals as a cohesive team
Excellent communication with staff and community
Persuasive communication skills, with an orientation toward results
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
An ongoing customer focus
The highest levels of integrity at all times
