Job Description
Quality Control Inspector / Quality Control Engineer
Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties. Will maintain TS Quality standards for Quality Control Inspector's area.
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties. Will maintain TS Quality standards for the Quality Control Engineer's area.
Working hours: Applicant must be flexible.
Job Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Routinely inspect all production operations.
Reads and Interprets blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information such as specified material, surface finish, and dimensions.
Verify that production operator is performing and documenting their inspections.
Selects products for testing at specified stages in production process, and test products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, and mechanical characteristics.
Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures when required.
Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Sets up and performs first piece inspection and testing on materials, parts, or products to ensure product meets specifications.
Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
