Job Description
T-Chek is looking for a Data Warehouse / Report Writer Developer to join the Application Project Development Team. Our team designs and develops innovative customer-facing and internal solutions for T-Chek Systems. Our applications are vital to T-Chek’s continued growth and success.
This position will be responsible for contributing to all aspect of various database development projects. The position requires a person who:

Take over the data warehouse role and responsibilities that C.H. Robinson provides for us today
Develop and enhance the data warehouse
Work with the business to develop and enhance front-end reporting (mostly SSRS)
Assist in the requirements analysis, design, development of ETL packages, converting data, and tuning and optimizing code
Translate high-level requirements into detailed technical design
Provide technical work estimates and task breakdown
Perform thorough unit testing and some functional testing as needed
Possess solid communication skills and a strong customer focus
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in Information Technology with most of that time in a data warehouse developer role.
Experience with database development
Some experience with MS Transact SQL or SQL Server 2005 Integration Services (SSIS)
Ability to enhance unfamiliar code
A strong desire and ability to quickly learn T-Chek’s business
Results-oriented team player
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated success in the development and delivery of IT solutions
Proven track record of effectively delivering results in a fast-paced environment and ability to successfully multitask
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent business experience
