PM415 OSR at CSDS-12

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the PMS415 representative at CSDS-12 for the development, test and implementation of tactics and fleet introduction matters.

Conduct training or COs/XOs/WEPS on the capabilities and tactics associated with PMS 415C systems.

Develop/maintain training materials (Powerpoint presentation format) used to conduct the above training.

Write tactical and supporting material for incorporation into a system employment manual and associated system operation documentation.

Attend Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and Woring Group meetings at NUWCDIVNPT as the program's CSDS-12 OSR.

Act as the onboard Test Director during at-sea tests. As onboard Test Director, primary duty will be to interface with the submarine's CO and XO to advise them on specifics of the test being conducted. There is an average of one major at-sea test event conducted annually.
Required Education:
Requires BS/BA degree.
Required Work Experience:
Requires 10-15 years experience.

Top Secret clearance (Ability to obtain one if not held at present).

SSN Tactical Decision Making experience

Other Desirable Requirements:
Ability to work well with representatives from various organizations (CSDS-12, other fleet activities, program office, NUWC, contractors.

Requires travel to Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; and Pearl Harbor, HI to conduct training. Average travel estimated: 3-4 days/mo.

Requires travel to Newport, RI and Washington, DC to support program meetings and working groups. Average travel estimated: 2-3 days/mo.
