The New Product Manager represents the interests of American Express Bank, FSB and American Express Centurion Bank for new initiatives affecting the Banks? products, systems, or processes.

The position will assume primary ownership and responsibility of the new product process and all initiatives as they impact the Banks from a finance, controllership, and regulatory perspective. This position identifies the Bank impacts/issues of initiatives through engagement with other Bank stakeholders and develops effective working relationships with project teams to ensure that identified impacts/issues are communicated and addressed prior to implementation. In addition, this position will work with and supervise a New Product Analyst on related initiatives.

The New Product Manager will be expected to demonstrate effective leadership and project management skills to drive overall resolution to Bank impacts/issues.

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience, including project management, financial analysis, accounting, and/or audit
? Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), finance practices, and banking regulations
? Dedicated, reliable, self-motivated individual with strong organizational capabilities
? Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive projects, improve processes, and work well under time-pressured deadlines
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and project teams
? Project management experience preferred
? Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. CPA and/or MBA a plus
