In this role, you will work within the framework of established operating procedures to implement security measures for the business’ information assets and provide troubleshooting and maintenance on procedures and controls necessary to ensure and protect the safety and security of all information systems assets. Essential Responsibilities Responsible for the coordination and successful implementation of information technology business projects within the Federation and Data Synchronization spaces Focus on the physical protection of information systems assets and corporate information and intellectual property assets Perform upgrades, configuration changes, etc. and POC’s as necessary. 25% project management, 75% hands on technical implementation Oversee / manage information security improvement projects interfacing with customer regularly Responsible for managing appropriate resources as necessary Develop schedules and plans to ensure timely completion of project deadlines. Coordinate communications Provide issue resolution as necessary Perform implementation, testing, & the creation of training plans Ensure successful transition of project deliverables to support / maintenance / operations teams
Qualifications/Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience with Identity and Access management technologies including Solaris 8 or higher, Linux and Sun Directory Server Minimum of 1 years project management experience leading technical initiativesELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Please submit your application for employment through Gecareers.com to be considered 18 years of age or older Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States Willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process Willing to work out of an office in Visteon Village, Wayne County, Van Buren Township (near Ann Arbor / Detroit)

Desired Characteristics 4 year degree in Computer Science, other technical field, or 4+ years of IT experience preferred Minimum of 2 years broader IT experience in a field such as application development, infrastructure management, or related fields in addition to experience in Security technologies Demonstrated experience with Apache, Jboss / Tomcat, JAVA / J2EE, XML, SPML, SAML, LDAP, JNDI, Solaris, Linux, Java, Oracle, SQL, AD, CA SiteMinder, Sun Web Server Experience with Meta directory technologies Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint Strong analytical skills – strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve Change oriented – actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways Meta Directory and Sun / Apache Web Server experience desired
