Description QC Holdings, Inc., a growing national payday loan company with over 500 locations, has an immediate opening for a Hardware Technician in our Corporate IT department. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 8pm.

This individual will fill an important role in the hardware support group.

The primary duties of this position include:

Perform setup and installation of computer equipment for Point Of Sale systems,
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware related problems for corporate and remote branch personnel,
Repair computer and related peripheral equipment when required,
Escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner to authorized individuals / departments,
Provide guidance to remote branch personnel regarding the operational aspects of computer equipment and associated peripheral devices,
Enter all activities performed in company tracking software as defined by policy,
Perform remote computer administrative duties at branch locations on an as needed basis,
Travel required on an as needed basis.

Requirements The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum two years of technical experience.
Knowledge of and experience in PC Hardware, PC Operating Systems, Networking, and Data Communications fundamentals.
Ability to work flexible hours, work unsupervised, be self-motivated, hard working, and willing to travel.
A 2 year college degree is preferred, but not required.
