MWH Global is currently looking for a senior level HR Systems professional in our Broomfield, CO office. This position will be responsible for providing Global HR systems support, integration and global work process development for three regions and a customer base of over 7000 employees, nearly 600 managers and 100 Human Resource professionals through a JD Edwards E1 HR/PAYROLL ERP.

This role provides support for HR applications, HR reporting, developing functional and technical specifications for applications development and/or modification, conducting workflow analyses, evaluating systems changes required to support HR functions and for designing and implementing test plans to evaluate those changes. This position supports and manages HRIS data and systems, including auditing, analyzing, retrieving and manipulating data. Role responsibilities include maintaining data integrity of HRIS information and managing interfaces with payroll, benefits, applicant tracking and outside providers.

This role serves all facets of HRIS information technology and the business functions of MWH Global, including applications using web-based, client server, host and alternative delivery products. This position will focus on adherence to project methodology, HRIS change control practices/processes, SOX policies and practices, audit requirements and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages operation of tasks proficiently, efficiently and with full accountability
  • Ensures data integrity of employee information through day to day integration
  • Partners with HRIS team members in global and regional locations to develop consistency and standardization of processes and services globally
  • Creates process documentation for HR transactions globally
  • Partners closely with outsourced and third party providers to create integration, interfaces and feeds
  • Manages entire Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for new applications and enhancements affecting Human Resources
  • Develops clear processes and automation as part of enhancement and upgrade cycle
  • Ensures that processes and procedures adhere to defined audit and internal controls
  • Oversees all aspects of small to mid-sized HRIS projects/ initiatives, including needs assessment, gap analysis, feasibility assessment, system specification development, project tracking and reporting, development management and implementation
  • Trains others in specialized skills in either a classroom setting or on the job
  • Designs test plans
  • Designs and maintains production support plans
  • Participates in enterprise-wide projects/initiatives representing HRIS as a subject matter expert (SME)
  • Communicates and interfaces directly with application business owners to gain in-depth knowledge of business operations
  • Provides support to compensation projects
  • Meets with users to analyze, design, develop, test and implement programs to meet special and ongoing needs of HRIS
  • Acts as liaison with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes and determine extent of programming involved
  • Compiles documentation of program development and subsequent revisions
  • Evaluates and recommends set-up, design and functionality for users, including upgrades
  • Provides prompt response to HRIS help desk tickets and change requests
  • Authorizes new system users
  • Maintains and manages specific set-up for position ID’s, benefits plans and HR tables
  • Audits and evaluates data to ensure consistency, accuracy and validity
  • Recommends improvements, innovative solutions and policy changes from established practices

    job Requirements

  • BS degree in Business, IT, computer science or related field
  • 5+ years HRIS administration, analyst or lead analyst experience required, including development, implementation, integration and project management
  • JD Edwards E1 HR software knowledge and experience strongly preferred
  • PMI project management certification preferred, but not required
  • Ability to lead directly or indirectly, small to medium scale projects and change initiatives
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven experience in integrating a human resources data repository in an ERP environment to facilitate inter-company and external application integration
  • Experience in requirements gathering, fit gap analysis, design, test case creation required
  • Technical competency and affinity to multiple HRIS, ATS and other recruitment and HR systems and technology
  • Experience in compensation planning modules and Learning Management systems a plus
  • Experience in full life cycle implementation of HRIS systems beneficial
  • Team player supporting the HR department as well as internal clients
  • Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
